ROTFL!!! I’d love to have been there!
Thanks for today’s laugh, I needed that!
Love. It.
Also, there’s been far more political stuff than this lately.
Sign above a urinal in a bar:
“Express lane: Three beers or less.”
I love this and find that it can be apropos to many discussions relating to topics which can be/are based on one’s “tastes”. And I wasn’t sure if I should post this here or in the “Denigrating other people’s food” thread. But as it is a comic strip, it seems more appropriate to post it here.
Title “Conosseiuer”

It’s me!
Once actual winter starts up (if it ever does), it me, too.
BED is already my favorite place in the world, but even more so once it gets cold & dark & nasty out.
All kidding aside, I’m disliking driving more and more. Everyone is so aggressive out there. They have to get in front of you at all costs
I try to stay local and do all of my shopping and errands by bicycle. My town has designated bicycle lanes. As long as the drivers can go around me or get past me easily, they seem content and leave me alone.
I’m a pretty aggressive driver — I’m German, after all, plus it’s one of my many jobs — but the driving here in Philly has left me stunned a few times: people running red lights, cutting folks off, going twice the speed limit.
It’s mostly NJ license plates, tho
I learned how to Philly-Drive under the El . .
Edit: The title should be “Connoisseur”. Sorry for the misspelling.
Sounds about right. (Learned to drive in NJ and occasionally bring it back out as a Masshole.)
I saw a driver take a sharp right turn on an intersection near us while the pedestrian light was white, and there was a young couple crossing the street pushing a stroller. I’m surprised the asshole didn’t graze the front of the scroller
My Dad taught me a valuable lesson oh 60x years ago when I was 11-ISH. We’d gone into NYC. I started to cross at the green OK to walk light & he held me back. I said “Why we have the right of way.” He said "Yeah you could be Dead Right!"
My PIC has been doing the same with me. It’s madness out there!
When we moved to the Rocky Mountain west, it was a pleasure to drive here. It hasn’t been for the last 23 years. Those who have ‘discovered’ this area bring all their ‘big city’ bad driving habits, plus the population growth has necessitated more lanes, round-a-bouts, over passes and traffic light signals. Lots of lights.
