I had a cat who loved carrot cake. Almost as much as I do! My mom used to feed her the cake on a fork. In my next life, I’m coming back as my own cat. Hope you recover quickly!!

Yeah. In a way, that’s what was so shocking about the loss of my young cat. When you euthanize or lose an older or ancient cat, there’s a sad backstory of just what you mention. A young cat is, as we remark about people, unfair. So I will amend my statement to say, I’d like to come back as my own, eternal cat.
