Speaking of emoji(s), a few months ago a male friend of mine called me up. He had just starting dating this younger woman. She was coming over to his place after she got off work. He texted her about plans for that evening when she arrived at his place. She texted two emoji(s), one eggplant and one peach.
He called me up to ask if I knew of a dish that had both eggplant and peaches in it. I said “No, I had never heard of any” then inquired about eggplant parmesan and a peach cobbler.
Once he explained that this younger woman had texted him those two emoji(s), I told him she is not talking about food and that he was going to have a nice evening!!
