Ouch! Lucky man you are. Be careful. It’s time you looked for new mitts. It’s hard to find ones that don’t melt.
I bake sourdough in a Staub which requires preheating and when done the pot is INSANELY hot. I use 4 pairs of mitts (1 mitt inside a bigger one for each hand).
By the way, is melting a standard? I never have anything melted. I don’t use mitt, but heat resistant pads.
The silicon ones melt. Now I use those to hold oysters.

Joking aside, just need more practice till you find a better angle and an eye for composition. I can’t make any decent photos with a phone camera in any case.

I have seen that horrible lobster “game” twice.
I have no issue with eating lobster, but it’s not a f***ing game.

Yes I have seen and attempted the lobster claw machine. Not even remotely capable of actually pick up the lobster.
