This popular chained establishment has finally planted its roots in the Markham/Richmond Hill area.
With a winning formula that features great value-for-money products, authentic preparation that includes the use of a traditional dome heater for the pita bread, a varied menu that offers seldom seen ‘ Lamb Option ‘ and a bunch of friendly, hospitable staff. No wonder the place was packed and a long line-up stretching out the door as early as 6.00pm!
My “ Beef & Lamb Shawarma Wrap ‘’ order was placed from one of a number of remote touch screen stations. Amount of condiments and selection of sauces offered are huge! End product, packed with nicely charred and seasoned meat, was extremely generous……more than enough for one!
Overall, a satisfying experience though IMO can be improved by the use of slightly better quality meat……since the occasional pieces of tough ‘sinew-attached-meat’ tend to spoil the eating sensation!
