A taste of Hawker Centre culture, in Shanghai. We had good eats and a good time here last year, most definitely worthy of a revisit.
In the lower level of the Singaporean Raffles shopping complex, a relaxing comfortable air-conditioned venue to enjoy a wide variety of well prepared street food at reasonable prices.
The HARDWORKING DUCK was mildly tempting. We passed, headed directly to the Chicken shop we had loved before. I’m a sucker for any store that has Fowl and Pig Parts hanging in the window.

Its perfectly ok to bring and consume outside food to most other eateries. Wife disappeared for a few minutes, and reappeared with 3 orders of fresh squirting SJB’s from the stall next door.
After this light lunch, I was not overly motivated to snap pics of the Scallion Pancakes, Jian Bing, Matcha Drinks ++++ that folllowed after lunch.
INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE CRAFT NOODLES???
