Michael Bauer (who’s always worshiped at Michael Mina’s feet) gives 3 Stars to the Michael Mina / Ayesha Curry collaboration International Smoke.
The restaurant sounds as ambitious as it is expensive, and I find it odd that Bauer singles out for praise from the vast menu something called “Kalua Instant Bacon” which appears to me to be Yet Another Pork Belly Gua Bao (I call them Changbugers).
