SF Chinatown (late 2020)

I have no idea where I should put this (feel free to move things around)

The most shocking thing is that New Asia is now a supermarket of sorts right now. Not sure exactly if temporary but the floor spacing upstairs doesn’t quite workout.

A new combo I never really considered at Osmanthus Dim Sum Lounge. I haven’t tried that place either.

All in all, Chinatown has an eerie quietness on Grant, but Stockton still seems pretty busy on the weekend. And Golden Gate Bakery is still closed atm. The windows are all boarded up, but hopefully they’ll be coming back soon.

Probably just temporary. My guess is that the previous patron moved out and they cannot get a real restaurant to over at this time, so they cheaper rent out until the real renter comes along.

Makes sense. Though for me, I find it rather disturbing since I recall eating here as a kid with family and the hustle and bustle of the place.

I really don’t know if there are any other large banquet places either in the city.
