Seaside and beach shack restaurants of the UK

I’m armchair travelling right now.

Which are your favourite seaside restaurants in the UK?

I haven’t been to the UK since 2018, and my recs are out of date.

I haven’t had memorable meals in or near Newcastle, Torbray, Penzance, Plymouth, Budleigh Salterton.

Hmmm. I don’t know many actual beach shack eateries. I know seaside restaurants of course but I guess that’s too easy for your challenge.

So, it’ll have to be the Crab House Cafe in Wyke Regis, Dorset where we had dinner one night last summer:

But, if the challenge is widened, I’ve eaten at all these between the beginning of 2019 and today. All are literally within sight of the sea. And I’d go back to all of them:

Potted Lobster, Bamburgh
Bennets, Weymouth
Catch of the Bay, West Bay, Dorset
Catch at the Old Fish Market, Weymouth
Rockfish , Brixham and Weymouth
Bamfords, Scarborough
Magpie, Whitby
No 7 Fish Bistro, Torquay
Quayside, Brixham
Simply Fish, Brixham
William the Conqueror, Rye Harbour
Audela, Berwick
Ebb & Flow, Deganwy
Neptunes, Seahouses.

I’m sure I’ll have reviewed all of them for HO so they should be findable in the UK forum
