When I hit CTL-F, I expect the search engine for the BROWSER to come up.

However, from time to time, when I hit CTL-F on this site, it brings up a search widget for the site - which, btw, doesn’t seem to work very well, if at all.

This happens in all browsers that I use, including Opera, Firefox, and Chrome. How may we disable this function?

I cannot recreate this, it just seems to spontaneously happen from time to time. I have no idea what causes this.

Let me guess, you get the search window from the site when you are in What’s For Dinner? and pretty much nowhere else?

At least that’s what I observed. It seems like the site search window will show up in a long thread.

In those situation, I guess we’ll have to alt - e, and then click find (at least in Firefox)
