I will be looking at older threads not to worry, but I’m asking for some updated info for folks that have visited in the last 2-3 yrs, or locals. H and I are doing a work from not home for 10 days, next month.
Would love to hear about your top spots any meal and most cuisines. Looking especially for regional foods and local preps (low country? Soul? Southern? Bbq?). Also I love a good bakery with the artisan breads or flaky pastries croissants etc not so much cake, donut and muffins.
Not looking for Asian unless exceptional. We live near enough to Seattle and Vancouver that we get great Asian here. Ambivalent about whether places have great drinks and don’t care about bars, as we are light drinkers.
Hoping for no more than 20-30 min drive from city center. We will have a car. Hit me! Thank you and please lmk if you ever need recs in the PNW.
