Iberia flights from Bilbao to Jerez currently go through Madrid.
Lots of new restaurants, bars, boutiques and hotels since your last visit—in Bilbao, Getaria, Donostia and Hondarribia. It’s all good.
Maribel, you are correct. I checked ever so quickly and thought I spotted direct Vueling flights but even those require a change.
But they fly direct from Bilbao to Sevilla
Which all means that I will soon begin my descent into the usual feverish research about all of these possibilities for NEXT year! Spending hours looking at hotels and restaurants in Bilbao, comparing a pre-Vejer stay in Bilbao with one in Cadiz, etc etc… Maybe I should look into Morocco, too, while I’m at it!!!

We are going back to San Sebastian for just 3 days in early May.
If we reserve in the downstairs dining room at Ganbara, can we order all of the pintxos available at the bar?

The dining room has a separate menu but you may be able to order your favorite pintxos from the upstairs bar. I’ve sent them an email to ask.

I received a response from Ganbara. They say that in the downstairs dining room one can only order from the dining room menu and that they don’t serve pintxos downstairs.
