Anybody know of a San Diego area bakery that offers gingerbread in the English style of “squidgy”? Lol, I find most store bought gingerbread around these parts are cookies. I’m looking for an actual loaf of sticky soft bread, Nigella so wonderfully refers to it as “squidgy” and who am I to argue? I can make it if need be, but would love to support local artisans while eliminating some work if possible. Any leads or words of advice are appreciated!
