No Costco where I live, alas — so Sam’s Club it is. Shirley, I can’t be the only one
YAY for the cheap-ass hot dogs at the cafeteria at one fitty plus a soft drink. Snappy, sawlty, meaty.
YAY for the $4.98 roti chicken, even though I cringe at the big boobs and sad little legses. That said, meat for a week plus stock = a Very Good Deal.
YAY for a case (roughly 1.5lbs) of honey mangoes at $11.47.
YAY for the avocado oil (34 fl oz.) at $13.98.
YAY for Ozzie lamb loin chops at $7.98/lb.
YAY for the Cosmic Crisp apples at $2.19/lb.
YAY for the sumo oranges at $2.65/lb.
This was also a great purchase at $9.96:
Hoping to make a shroom pasta with the black truffle / sea salt cheez
I was a Sam’s Club member for a number of years, but they closed the one that was close to me.
The next closest one was too much of a haul – I didn’t renew.
I don’t have anything bad to say about them. I remember getting flour, olive oil and other staples at a great price. Cleaning products were also nicely priced. I picked up a beautiful set of mixing bowls that I really like (they were a clearance item).
I wish they hadn’t closed that store, but I can pretty much find the same items at Walmart.

We got a really nice 24-pc set of glass containers there, too.
I’d say we mostly go for the fruit & veg, the chicken & other meats. So many of the frozen meals don’t appeal to us, nvm the YUUGE amounts for a 2-person household.
And gas is still cheaper than elsewhere, thankfully — especially these days!
