I was a Sam’s Club member for a number of years, but they closed the one that was close to me.
The next closest one was too much of a haul – I didn’t renew.
I don’t have anything bad to say about them. I remember getting flour, olive oil and other staples at a great price. Cleaning products were also nicely priced. I picked up a beautiful set of mixing bowls that I really like (they were a clearance item).
I wish they hadn’t closed that store, but I can pretty much find the same items at Walmart.
We got a really nice 24-pc set of glass containers there, too.
I’d say we mostly go for the fruit & veg, the chicken & other meats. So many of the frozen meals don’t appeal to us, nvm the YUUGE amounts for a 2-person household.
And gas is still cheaper than elsewhere, thankfully — especially these days!
I belonged to Sam’s for years becauae there’s one close to me.
But kiddo works for Costco, so I have an executive membership gratis. (And he gets the rebate at the end of the year).
So i just keep a list (on my phone lest it stay on the fridge when I leave the house) and make a visit once a month or so. If I time it right I take him to dinner after he clocks out, so bonus.
I have both memberships because they are literally across the street from each other but use Sam’s every 10-1 times!
I like the hours better( early)sometimes I have stuff shipped or delivered.
