Sahara in Ithaca, NY

Since turning vegan, I admittedly don’t eat out very often. Aside from the pain of finding vegan alternatives, I’ve embraced cooking and easier, much cheaper meals. i did however sit outside one day at Sahara for lunch. Started some dolmas that tasted like spring. I then tried some of my lunch date’s falafel and it was scrumptious. For my lunch, I had the tabbouleh salad that was amazing and massive. Paired this meal with a Southern Tier IPA. Sitting outside on a 70-75 degree day was wonderful, even with the constant foot traffic on Aurora Street. Service was A+ plus.

I’m definitely heading back again soon.

Thanks for the report! Is this a vegan/vegetarian restaurant or do they serve meat as well?

Meat and fish, and from what I can tell, all fairly healthy meals
