So two weeks ago I hit up my local Safeway to pick up a bottle of M&R vermouth. It was out of stock… which made sense as the price tag on the shelf had it on sale for about half of their already discounted price (it was $3 and change for what is normally about $7).
This week I hit them up again hoping it was in stock. But the spot on the shelf where it has always been was occupied by another product (not related to vermouth). So I go to my account online and search for “Martini & Rossi” and it is no where to be found.
Is this just my local Safeway, or did Albertson’s brands just part ways with M&R?
