Sacrifial Lamb Kabob in Dupont Circle

I’ve been meaning to try this place for 2 years but finally did. It’s a Pakistani basement dive restaurant, mostly carryout and delivery, but with a few tables. relatively late hours. The prices are good and so is the food. I tried the chicken & spinach, and the eggplant, and ordered a side of chickpeas. I’ll definitely try it again. You don’t go there for ambiance.

What kind of chicken did you get? How was the eggplant cooked, with the chicken? Inquiring minds want to know!

The chicken was cooked with spinach. Eggplant was a separate entree. Chickpeas I ordered as a side. Check your texts for a pic, which you can add here if you want. LOL. I can’t add it from here.

For those who don’t know, it’s at 17th and R Sts, NW

That’s ok, I will wait for you to upload the pic if you want.

I went about 7 or 8 years ago and agree it’s decent! I no longer live in the area. Weird name but :woman_shrugging:t2:

You’ve since been there, Steve. what did you think?

It is a true hole-in-the-wall with a postage stamp area for dine-in. Not wimpy about the spices. Definitely a good address to know.
