Tomorrow, October 6, 2023, will be the last day for this venerable Seattle fishmonger. Mutual fed Seattle exceptionally well for 76 years, leaving a void I’m not sure can be filled.

A bummer for sure, but also glad they get to retire. I hope they owned the building and sell it for millions. Back in my restaurant days, Mutual was where you got the good fish, delivered by Gene, who was super nice.
Have you seen the huge new developments along Rainier? The latest neighborhood I don’t recognize anymore …
