Richmond Hill Culinary Landscape - A quick update

  1. O’ MEI - Owner Ringo has decided to sell business to a third
party after the fire damage caused by short circuit of a fish
tank. New owner has decided to retain the existing manager
‘Sunny’ and majority of the kitchen staff including the head
chef. Hopefully, quality would remain the same as before
    after reopening?!
  2. RICHMOND COURT, Times Square - They have reopened after
suffering from damages caused by mistaken arson! Looks like
they have taken advantage of the unfortunate incident to
totally renovate the place and go upscale. Now, they are
offering even a $500+ Peking Duck set menu!
  3. BOMBAY BHEL ( see photos ) - This Richmond Hill curry
house icon has decided to relocate into Times Square, on top
of BMO, after spending 20+ years in its old location.
Offering some of the best traditional Indian fare in the GTA,
The food coming out of this new location is as good as
before. Reflected by these ’ Cashew Nut base Lamb Korma
and Lamb Rogan Josh served with Basmati Rice.

Inept gangbangers lit the wrong place on fire?

Rumour has it, gangs in Canada like to use ’ hired guns ’ from across the border and vice versa…easy to escape and hard to trace!

In this case, the target was supposed to be an upstairs unit, directly above Richmond Court, inside the mall. Gangster torched the wrong unit and actually returned the next night to finish the job?!😂

Yikes! That’s awful!
