Rhode Island- miscellaneous

Just finishing up a week in RI, stayed in Charlestown just off the beach. I already reported Shipwrights Daughter and Monahan’s (which we seemed to hit almost daily for something - stuffies, frozen lemonade, lobster rolls, shakes, etc.)

View from the deck.

Quonnie Farms is another one we hit several times - bougie farm market with great bread, pastries, quarts of chowder ice cream etc. Their homemade pizza looked good but didn’t try. Manhattan chowder was very good, especially with their bread. Good donuts as well.

The Haversham is a casual pub with icy cold 24 oz mugs of beer for $10. Huge fish and chips (that’s a half order) and delicious Portuguese steamed clams. I’d be a regular if I lived here.

Crazy Burger in Naragansett was fine nothing special

Bricklees Homemade Ice Cream in Wakefield was really good but when we tried a second time there was a line of like 75 people so we went to Nanas in Naragansett instead.

Providence for a college tour so we hit Marvin Pizza for lunch - really good, and my aperol spritz with hibiscus cranberry and rose hit the spot. I passed on the frozen gummy bear cocktail lol.

Pastiche Pastries in Providence because you can’t leave the East Coast without a couple cannoli (and slice of coconut cake!)

Sounds like a tasty week and great location! You were pretty lucky with the weather too I think.
