We’ve been eating at Campo since they opened four and a half years ago and have liked or loved everything we’ve had. But today was such a surprise that a sandwich could be so exceptional. We’d pretty much decided what we were going to order (we always share) when a server passed by with something drool worthy. On the menu it’s described as "Sausage & Ham: open-faced, smoked ham, calabrese sausage, fonduta . We’d looked right over it. But one has to remember that Campo’s meats are extraordinary. They source locally and break down their meats in house. Here’s a photo:
Actually that’s half the sandwich cause they split it. Also very good fries and their house made ketchup and pickles. What a GREAT lunch!
