This is an interesting concept. Comfort food for me seems to include making it.

There are things I can see being attractive: Philly cheese steak, NY pizza, NY bagels, one particular Caesar salad from a restaurant in Seattle. My father used to bring a stack of five or six pizzas home from the pizza place near my grandmother on the Eastern Shuttle. They just weren’t the same.

We are a source on the other hand. We ship my lasagna and my wife’s stuffed shells frozen hard with dry ice to one of my wife’s brothers and her father. We haven’t done that since the virus lockdowns.

If you see something you like on Goldbelly, I’d recommend going directly to the store/restaurant’s Website, see if you can order from that portal, and compare the costs. I’ve seen markups if you go through Goldbelly.
