- Dough Zone (Walnut Creek), the newest location of Dough Zone Dumpling House, Seattle-based chain with locations in Cupertino , San Mateo , San Jose, North Valley , San Jose, Blossom Valley , San Leandro
- Home Eat (Fremont) new location of Cupertino & Sunnyvale chain, from their website, “Established in 2015, Home Eat (previous name - Fashion Wok) has evolved from original, Taiwanese style, boutique small hot pots, to a large-scale integrated full service restaurant that combines Sichuan, Hunan, Taiwan, and independently developed fusion dishes.” The website says San Jose and Santa Clara locations are forthcoming.
