We are going to visit Santa Ana and would love recommendations for delicious snacks and meals. We’ll be there on a Saturday and in honesty – we don’t have any idea of the area at all (we’re trying to explore SoCal by mini train/bike journeys ). We want to go to the farmers market in the morning and dancing in the evening and see street art and architecture in between. We are on a bit of a tight budget, we like street food, and we like trying new cuisines or specialties. S
Here’s one suggestion
Go to Burritos La Palma at the 4th Street Market in the heart of DTSA. Among the best tortillas in SoCal. You’ll need 2-3 per person. These burritos are very lightly filled.

For coffee Hopper & Burr is amazing. A great local spot.
For beers Native Son has a good diverse list of beers on tap and usually have a decent list of cans as well.
Be wary of all the construction going on in DTSA. There are a lot of street closures.
