Re: favourite brands of athletic pants, yoga pants, stretch pants, jogging pants, sweat pants, travelling pants, etc

This is definitely not about food.

I need some new sweat pants or yoga pants.

Which brands, or specific items, are you happiest with?

Thanks for any tips.

I have been happy with Encircled and Hernest Project up here in Canada. I’ve bought 2 pairs from each company over the past 5 years.

The main reason I’m not buying more from Encircled or Hernest Project is that they both use a lightweight knit fabric. One of my dogs keeps nibbling at my pants, and they end up getting little holes.

I was happy with some Universal Standard leggings I bought in 2019.

I have some old Lululemon pants from 20 years ago, when the clothing was still made in Canada and there weren’t issues with transparency. My 20 year old pants are unfortunately a little too small now, and the fabric has pilled.

I like those in merino wool from Ibex.

I like Spanx, especially when they are running a sale.
If you are vertically challenged, the petites are a good length for 5’2" and under.

Thank you!

I’ve gotten hooked on Duluth Trading’s Noga capris and pants. They have them on sale seasonally, and BTW they tend to run big. I wear them darn near all the time in warm weather, which (not to complain) is damn near always

I buy Danskin leggings at Costco…they 11 or 12 a pair in several colors, and get this…POCKETS

Yep. Danskin all the way. I have the yoga pants and the leggings (shorts, capri, and full). Pockets, ftw!

Same, love these. The mondetta ones from Costco are pretty good too. And athleta but pricier.
