Thanks for the report! Parsnipity family is also headed to Florida- I swear we live parallel lives! We’re doing 3 nights in South Beach Miami, though, so no theme parks and hopefully we can track down some good food? I perused the appropriate board but it’s pretty sparse. We’re meeting friends whom we miss dearly as they decamped from Somerville for the only academia jobs they could score at the same university in Miami a while back. In trying to meet up, I assumed they had Monday off, which those of us in Massachusetts know as Presidents’ Day. Texting with my now-abashedly-Floridian friend she informed me they were working and at school and said “nope, there’s only one president celebrated here.” I got a good laugh, but whew. Wish us luck.
