Great experience ! Wonderful price fixe menu! quality service extraordinary amalgamation of local jersey produce , traditional Asian cuisine and western cooking technique. Too much to describe but favorite dishes were the Peking duck and black bass. The desserts were excellent , the egg tart a nice variation of a traditional Chinese egg tart, the moon cake more traditional with an untraditional strawberry accent. I paired with a Bordeaux (byob) but a Chardonnay may have worked better with the light summery flavors. Look forward to hearing what others think about this new restaurant !

If you like Heirloom Kitchen, Lita et al. I think you will like Ram and Rooster. The Chef Sean Yan was the initial pastry chef at Heirloom Kitchen and I would chat him up on the few occasions when I was there. He eventually was front and center on the Chefs counter and I began to follow him on social media regarding the development of this project. The menu is a prix fixe and BYOB. There is a pretty decent liquor store right next door if you forget to bring (I Did!!). Reserve on the Chefs Table, chat up the staff on the development of the dishes and their original inspirations. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
