A wander through Jackson Heights after ages yielded an excellent chicken samosa from Merit, along with some very good seekh kabab.
There’s a newish Bangladeshi place called Nabonno which replaced another similar spot. They were pretty deserted mid-afternoon, but the food looked pretty good.
The food trucks keep multiplying (6 or 7 serving pani puri / puchka / fuchka at last count), but a pic of duck bhuna caught my eye, and I’m going to have to go back to try it (shopping when very full from lunch is not conducive to buying more things to eat later).
