Anyone familiar? Stumbled on it digging up some history on Lucky Peach". A few comments in the NYT suggested it pre-dated "Lucky Peach " in the “irreverent food magazine that broke down barriers between journalists and cooks” department.
I had picked up a couple copies of it somewhere in east Hollywood, years ago. I recall enjoying the writing, but didn’t subscribe and it fell off my radar. Much like Lucky Peach. Now I’ve twinges of guilt for not supporting the efforts.
