I’ll be visiting the Luberon this summer with a group of old friends (6 people in all), staying near Menerbes, and am looking for some restaurant recs in Menerbes proper as well as in the general vicinity – Roussillon, Gordes, Isle sur la Sorgue, Gordes etc. My last visit to the region was well over 15 years ago - I recall having a memorable meal at Le Mas de Tourteron near Gordes, which seems to have closed and recently reopened. Anyone know if it’s still worth a visit? Same question re: La Bastide de Capelongue in Bonnieux, which was recommended to me many years ago by a chef friend. (We have a reservation there already.). We will certainly take day trips and are very happy to travel for a good meal, so I would appreciate any and all recs (both fine dining and more casual) in the larger area. Thanks!
