We got takeout last night from a new local joint, Prep Neighborhood Kitchen. Twas a stormy night, so I thought they might need some business, but I don’t think I had to worry - they seemed busy. Two nice (young! or maybe I’m old?) guys running the entire show who said they have FOH experience but this is the first time they’ve tried their hand at the kitchen. They apologized for making me wait but I enjoyed their music soundtrack. I ordered Roasted heirloom carrots (a little too sweet for me but we ate it all up, accompanied by a tasty creamy dill-forward dip); duck-fat potato wedges, with an aioli accompaniment; kale salad, again, a good creamy dressing; margherita pizza; and a shrooms pizza. Sourdough crust was good. Needed a touch of salt. And B wanted a little more oil. Very good for our tiny corner of the world.
