It had been an early start to get to my six-monthly appointment at the cancer review clinic. Nurse is happy with my test results and that I’m coping well with “stuff”. So, to celebrate not needing to restart the hormone therapy, we took ourselves off to the cafe at the garden centre just up the road, for a second breakfast.
The “Full English” for me, - two rashers of bacon, two sausages, fried egg, slice of black pudding, baked beans, hash brown bites, mushrooms, toast and a coffee. Bacon barm for herself which also has the hash brown bites on the side. Although their “large” coffees seem pretty small.
Cancer nurse might be happy with me but I doubt my diabetes nurse would be.
I most firmly believe that most English have hobbit in their ancestry.
Glad things are going well. That breakfast sounds perfect.
