Had a shaved snow at Powder this weekend. There was a bit of a line to get in - I’m guessing the warm September weather had something to do with that, and the fact that it has just opened. The line moved pretty quickly though. There is a small bench inside and a public parklet on the sidewalk outside the store. Got a regular sized black sesame with sweet milk glaze as a topping ($4.50 + $0.50 for the one topping). I haven’t had this type of shaved ice before so don’t really have anything to compare it with. Very light and airy and yet also had some creaminess. Cold and refreshing, with good sesame flavor. The description it as a cross between ice cream and shaved ice is pretty accurate. Came with a little cookie that tasted like waffle cone.
