I am in a phase where I don’t like plain potato chips unless there’s onion dip, and I only really enjoy 2 or 3 flavours of potato chips enough to buy them over and over again, although probably less than 3 times a year for any of them : salt &vinegar, sour cream & onion, and paprika/Hungarian ( the paprika / Hungarian are common in Austria, Germany, Hungary, and I can find them at some Polish stores. San Daniele also makes a Paprika chip that I can find at some Italian stores)
I have cut back drastically on trying new flavours of potato chips over the past 12 months because I don’t end up enjoying them enough to spend the calories. LOL
I choked down the Badiali Vodka Sauce Pizza chips because I don’t like to waste food. What I was thinking was, I will never buy these again. LOL That was my last new flavour chip purchase in 2025.
I tried a new (to me) one this year, too. TJ’s Irish blue cheese. Loved the ridges and the thickness, but felt the flavor had an artificial tang to it. And while I gave it bonus points for coming in a small bag, I won’t be buying that one again (but might try TJ’s plain ol’ ridge cut some time if I can get them in a small bag).
I used to sometimes buy a big bag, take a handful, and pass the rest of the bag around to be shared with the people on the 54 person bus on my weekend ski trips that were part of my winter routine for 17 years. (I’m a bit of a germaphobe so I never took chips out of a bag of chips once other people’s hands had been in there )
I am familiar with many of these because of my regular family visits, but many-- especially the So Crack line-- are new to me. I wish they had been at the Super U.
