I haven’t seen Porto mentioned here, but we gave it a try this weekend before a symphony concert and enjoyed it quite a bit. The website describes it as Mediterranean-inspired seafood, but we ended up ordering several vegetable meze, together with a squid ink bucatini. Everything was well-executed, with bright flavors, and we were happy with all the dishes. I really appreciate restaurants that have a good variety of interesting vegetable dishes, and Porto definitely fits that.
Overall, I still prefer Oleana or Sarma for vegetable-focused small plates (their spicing is just more interesting to me), but I’m glad to have another option when we’re in that part of Boston.
