`Ashland, Medford, Crater Lake, and Redwood NP

We’ll be bouncing around this area after the weather warms, with a few days in Ashland/Medford (booking 3 plays), a day trip to Crater Lake, and a few days in Redwood NP. We’ll need to eat several times a day, and seek your advice. Nancy eats light with very little red meat. My preferences differ. I also want to sample some NW IPAs. Many thanks in advance.

I ate at Podnah’s s – whoa! it’s been 9 years! I thought it was very good at the time, although the bar for brisket has been raised considerably in the intervening years. This trip we went to Matt’s BBQ, and I liked it.

When Rodney first opened and was the one manning the pit and it was little unknown, I thought it was stupendous.-- but that was probably 2006 or so. I know he has moved on to lots of other projects. I hope it is still solid, tho.
