I find this surprising-- The Portland Denny’s has shut down permanently! Quite boggled at that. No details in WGME link, just photo of the chained & padlocked door. I assume it’s the now all too common can’t find staff.

The building sold. They’re out. In the end, its dennys in an awful part of Portland. It won’t be missed.
