News 12 is reporting that Porta Napoli in Harrison is now serving a strange combo pie: take a classic Margherita pizza, add curly fries, five potato puffs and Walter’s hot dogs (I guess to kick it up a notch). Not sure about this… Must be a light news day at News 12.
MMMM either a very early or very late April 1 addition to the menu (or total desperation- to get a tax loss)
It’s one thing about the Walter’s hot dogs, another about having two types of fried potatoes on top, too…
French fry pizza is so strange to me, but you do see it popping up here and there. I saw one in Venice once - a testament to the touristy-ness of the city, I suppose?
I love French fries and I love pizza, but not together! I have also seem pizza with ziti on top. Seriously?
A buddy of mine tried it and liked it. I think I will take a pass.
