What are your favorite places to eat in Mumbai? We visit mumbai quite often, and here are some places that we go on most/all of our visits:

Madras Cafe - Matunga
Mahesh Lunch Home - Fort
Jai hind seafood - Lower Parel
Olympia - Keema Pao - Regal
Badshah - Crawford Market
Mainland China - chinese dimsum, good lunch specials

Shree Thaker Bhojanalay – Kalbadevi
Bade Miya - Regal
Kyani & Co or Brittania Cafe - Parsi breakfast (akuri)
Chetana - Regal - Gujarati Thali
K Rustom’s Ice Cream - Churchgate
Natural ice cream - all over
Sardar - Pao Bhaji
Kobe, Yoko - Sizzlers

4. Koolar & Co. Matunga (for the Irani experience- cheese omelets and brun maska!),

Can you say more about the natural ice cream? I am intrigued and wonder whether any of the Indian places locally offer that.

According to my wife, the fruit flavors at natural are awesome, especially the tender young coconut and fresh mango (and you can get it topped off with fresh mango slices during mango season)

The other “regular” flavors (vanilla, chocalate chip etc) are ok and are not as good as the local SF versions
