PJ's Pancake House Princeton

This venerable breakfast and lunch institution has been feeding hungry morning people for years and this is the first time I tried them.

We got a few things to share. The blueberry pancakes, a benedict with two potato pancakes, pork roll, American cheese and a poached egg with a decent hollandaise sauce, and an order of fried chicken.

Obviously, the pancakes are the thing to get and they were big, fluffy, and tasty. The bene was also good though. My companion loves their fried chicken and we found out it arrives frozen from a company called. Brakebush. I may have to look into buying some.

All, in all, a nice breakfast.

I work in food sales and am familiar with Brakebush. They are one of the major chicken suppliers along with Pilgrim’s Pride and of course Tyson and Perdue.

I had been meaning to try out the PJ’s in West Windsor for a while, but between Covid and going low carb, it hasn’t happened. And I can’t bring myself to go to a place with Pancake in the name and not order some, at least on my first visit.
