Today’s New York Times had an article on the cockney dish pie and mash. I’ve never had it and am curious to hear people’s thoughts on the topic.

I don’t really eat pie and mash regularly. There’s a hipster pie cafe in my neighborhood which I’ve written about here:
But it’s a bit different to the classic London pie and mash with liquor. It’s a filling meal and very comforting on a cold day.

We have a new pie and mash place that recently opened in Toronto! I have not tried it yet.

These Pies are also good at Man on Kent pub. Man on Kent has not been offering take-out lately, and it’s too crowded, dark and noisy for me inside the Pub. I have not bought their frozen pies yet.
