Beloved Houston Mexican restaurant Picos to close after 44 years
Last time I went was probably during the Vuelva a la Vida Month we had here on HO long ago!!! A favorite of the late and still much missed jcostiones and also missed Wifacita as I recall, at least during their courting period.
I liked the orig location on Bellaire better, shag carpet (as I remember), shorter ceilings, darker interior and especially the short lived bakery/taqueria?/snack shop across the street.
