It’s been around since 1937 and the place was sold about 6 years ago. Pete’s Park Place Tavern on Kraft Ave., Bronxville prepares a really good, if sometimes messy burger. The burgers are placed between English muffins. We indulged in two of our favorites recently: Pete’s Burger with sautéed mushrooms, melted Swiss & garlic parm butter. The French Onion Burger is topped with melted Gruyere, onion strings and roasted garlic aioli. The fries a fine, too served with a peppery aioli on the side.
