San Francisco-based Chinese-American chef and TV personality, Martin Yan, hit Singapore and then Penang for a series of promotional appearances last month. For many of us who grew up watching his cooking shows on TV (he’d hosted more than 3,500 episodes of Yan Can Cook on PBS since 1982), it was a chance to meet him in person.
Martin Yan turns 77 this year, but looked exactly like how we remembered him from 40 years back.
