Some old friends from Singapore were in Penang last week, and we had a rather heavy dinner at ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ปg Nyonya restaurant early one evening.
Imagine my surprise when they suggested that we go straight to ๐๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐ถ๐บ ๐๐ฎ๐บ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฒ right afterwards, as they wanted to find out if Mdm Phang Eng Simโs lam mee was really as fantastic as Iโd claimed.
So, we waddled there with rather full tummies - ordered the noodles โjust to have a tasteโ.
Whoa, turned out, they really, really liked the food - cleaned out every single drop in their bowls! 
Good food never goes to waste with this bunch.
