Peek inside your fridge

When my 27 ft3 died a couple of years ago I replaced it with a 22 cu ft counter depth.

Now that it’s just me its a great size.

I did add this. …probably the only thing Ive sewn on social media and realized I actually needed it. Its a game changer!

Since that “What Does Your Refrigerator Say About You” thread we got a counter depth refrigerator.

It says “big enough, once the kids moved out.”

Old refrigerator in the garage

Says “…nice to have, but you must be keeping this for the freezer.”

Hahaha. Nice that you have a second fridge!

I strive to have a fridge and freezer as neat as yours  I have a small empty space at the front of my freezer!

Exactly my situation.

I have a Bosch counter depth, too. Not as nice or roomy a model. It was what was available during the pandemic. I’ll live …

The problem with all of my counter-depth fridges has been something my kitchen re-doer didn’t notice that there’s a wall on one side of the counter depth alcove that’s deeper than the counter. So if the counter-depth fridge is pushed all the way into the alcove, the right door will not open fully. This means that visuals be damned, I should have stuck with a regular size fridge. Next time …

Ignore cat fur on door. Don’t ask!

Oh, those of us governed by feline overlords understand far too well.

It gets errrrrrrrywhere. I swear I take a frying pan out of the pantry (closed doors, no less), and inevitably a cat hair or two will be in it, or fly out of it

I used to watch a (Canadian) television show called “Til Debt Do Us Part”. The first thing the financial advisor (Gail Vaz Oxlade) would do is look in the fridge of the debt-drowning couples, and asses how the money was being spent (or not). Most of the folks featured did not cook much. You all are awesome (as am I)! Gail would peek and be proud.

We cleaned our kitchen fridge a month ago when we had guests, but still not a chance in heck I’m posting a picture here. :smile_cat:

Everyone who comes, or used to come, to Casa Meekah is/was a cat or dog person. I’ve never made apologies -but on my coffee table is a bowl filled with individual sticky rollers for … you know. Here, take one!!

I just noticed the last two possets in the garage fridge!

Shhhhh  husband won’t look there!

I think those rollers are a familiar decorative knick knack in most pet owners’ abodes

Sneaky!

That said, I could put something on the top shelf in the middle of the fridge, and my dearest still wouldn’t find what he’s looking for

I kind of have a similar. World tour. Back bean paste, sambal, hoisin, gochujang, kimchee, (not to mention all the funkies in the pantry), to Mexico to Central and S. America, to the middle east (shatta, the sambal of the middle east, LOVE it), harissa, etc. I also make a lot of sauces, like hatch green with tomatillos. Love me some sauces. I almost ALWAYS have some kind of taco/enchilada meat filling prepped and at the ready.

I had to look that one up!

For others not “in the know” (, or just wanting a recipe)

I loved that show! I learned a lot about finances in my early twenties watching it.

Gail would probably give me shit for my cheese drawer though!
