Paris dining

Hi. I am looking for a new and exciting place as far as creativity and plating goes for lunch.
I looked at over 100 restaurants!
Some that I was interested in were either on vacation or didn’t offer lunch on days I was looking for.

I have the following booked:
Mokonuts Monday
I found plenty of other restaurants that I was interested in but they were not open on Mondays.
This restaurant takes 𝟑𝟎 𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐬 deposit pp. You have to cancel 24 hours before and if you don’t confirm by 10 am the day of your reservation, your reservation is canceled!
Too many hoops.
If I find something else, I might switch unless I should really keep my reservation. The reviews are mostly positive. I wish there was a sample menu.

Kubri Tuesday
I have been looking forward to this restaurant for over 2 years!
First restaurant booked almost a month ago.

Irwin Wednesday
Really looking forward to this place.

Thursday final full day
That’s the day I need help. Have been to a few high regarded places in the past such as Substance, Alliance, Frederic Simonin, L’inconnu , Le Clarence, Le Grand Jean françois Piège, ERH and others.
I considered Origines, Pages, Capsule, Eunoé, Contraste, Benjamin Schmitt and others.
I am on the waitlist for Aldehyde.
I prefer to find something fresh. A chef that has a great background and doing his/her thing rather than being chained to Michelin.

Also any place that’s open at 18:00 for a light something if needed.

Thank you

I find Montee and Sola interesting. Also Pierre Sang restaurants. One place I have not been to but that has been mentioned on this board and looks interesting is F.I.E.F. / Fait Ici En France.

Thank you. We went to Sola back in 2011 and had a great meal.
I already checked Fait Ici En France. It is only open for dinner.

I’ll be eager to hear about Irwin, which I’m going to check out in September. Their desserts look especially good. Enjoy your meals!

Thank you. Yes the pastry chef was definitely a big factor.
I will report when we come back.

You write that some of the places you looked into were on vacation. When are you going to Paris?

Irwin does look interesting, but aside from saying they serve 3, 5 and 7-course menus, I didn’t see any sample menu for them.

For Thursday, have you considered Amâlia, Mallory Gabsi, NHOMe (dinner only on Thursday) or Pantagruel?

Thank you.
We will be in Paris 9/8-9/12. Mon-Thurs
Yes I did check most of the above restaurants. I prefer lunch over dinner. Almost 90% of restaurants I checked had no menu posted. Very frustrating.

Here is the update.

I canceled Mokonuts yesterday.
Reserved Rooster par Frédéric Duca for Monday lunch.

As of now I have Eunoé for the only dinner on thursday on our final full day in Paris.
Of course that’s for now. I might change that to lunch at Gemellus.
