Paella in Valencia Spain

I’m going to Spain soon. I’ll be in Valencia in mid-March and I’m looking for a great Paella place. It need not be in the center of town. I want to treat a grad student daughter if friends who is studying there and myself as well. I’ll have a car.

Any ideas? I have lots of recs for Madrid, Sevilla, Granada and Barcelona.

Welcome to Hungry Onion!

Friend recommended Barraca de Toni Montoliu. Arrive early to see the paella preparation and cook in a fire pit, smokey aroma.

You can also try El Restaurante Goya Gallery, many rice options. Also not to miss the family-run Casa Navarro.
