I was recently introduced to the range of spirits by OYO (“oh-why-oh”), made by Middle West in Ohio, and they’re all really worthwhile. Their whiskey is rich and wheaty, and if you can get ahold of it, I especially recommend their stone fruit vodka – it’s more of a fruit cordial than a flavored vodka. Their honey vanilla is also really terrific.
THAT SAID, I now have two bottles of the honey vanilla due to exuberant gifting. Anyone want to trade?
