What is Lidl?

A German discount grocery - similar product/price to Aldi’s. Entered US market 2017.

The European chain Lidl has plans for stores in Cary and Raleigh. They are also opening a regional distribution center in Mebane so more stores will be in the works. I’ve read they are similar to Aldi’s.
